Unfortunately due to our projected enrollment for the fall, we will be unable to support a preschool program this upcoming year. Thank you to all the families we have gotten to know over the years for blessing us with the opportunities to teach, lead, & direct your children. The preschool has been a blessing to Dutch Fork Christian Church and we are thankful for you.

2009-2010 School Year

We are trying to get a feel from returning families if your child will be attending Dutch Fork Preschool in the Fall. This will allow us to have a better picture of our enrollment. As of right now, our enrollment is down – however we think people are waiting on registering their children as we get further along in the summer. Please leave a comment below or email preschool@dutchfork.com by July 10th if you intend on enrolling your child. We will know by July 15th the plans for the upcoming school year then.

Discovery Days 2009

Join us this summer for our summer preschool program, Discovery Days. This program is designed for children ages 1-5 and meets on Monday and Wednesday mornings from 9:00-12:00 pm. At Discovery Days, your child will participate in themed activities, snack, outside play, and scheduled on-site events. We will do fun water days, have guest speakers come visit, and spend time enjoying the summer. Children will be divided into classes by their  birth date to ensure safety and learning. Your family can choose either Session 1 or Session 2 or both!

Session 1: June 1, 3, 8, 10, 15, 17, 22, 24, 29

Session 2: July 1, 6, 8, 13, 15, 20, 22, 27, 29

A registration/supply fee of $25.00 is due with your child’s registration. This fee is non-refundable and will hold your child’s spot. We are accepting only 30 children for our summer program, so space may fill up. If you are enrolling a sibling, you would pay a $15.00 registration/supply fee for them. You only need to pay one registration fee regardless of the number of sessions your child is attending. 

The tuition cost is $110.00 a session and the payment is sue the first day the session begins.

Openings

If you’re still thinking about enrolling your child for the 2008-2009 school year, you’re not too late! We’ve added teachers and classes so we have a few new openings available.

We have at least one opening in all of our classes – ones through fours.

Open House

We will be holding an Open House on Tuesday, August 26th for those families who are currently enrolled for the 2008-2009 school year. It will be an opportunity for you to meet your child’s teacher, hear some important information about the school year, and tour the facility. We will be meeting at 6:30pm in the larger building. Your children are more than welcome to attend with you!

Updated News

As our Summer Discovery Days program starts to come to an end, registration is picking up for the Fall. We have limited openings available in our classes, so be sure to get your registration form in quickly to reserve your child’s spot.

The Open House for 2008-2009 is being planned for August 26th. If you have already enrolled your child, information packets will be mailed the week of August 18th.

Summer Themes

We have developed our Summer Discovery Days Program with themes to engage the children and to provide creative activities through. Our themes that we will be exploring this summer are:

• Zoo Animals
• Circus
• Camping
• Beach/Ocean
• Summer Fun
• Fairy Tales
• Ice Cream

Each week we have planned a fun activity as well to go with the theme – some are a water fun time, visit from a fire truck, music around the “campfire”, ice cream treat, etc.

Added a new class

BAD NEWS: We are full to our 30 we were accepting for our Discovery Days Summer Preschool Program.

GOOD NEWS: We have hired two additional teachers and opened a new class!

So, that means that we are still accepting children ages 1-5 for our Summer program, that starts next week. Check out the details below on days, hours, and class information!

Adding more summer classes

We have made the decision that due to enrollment we are adding a new class for summer. That means that if you are on the waiting list, you will be contacted this week about enrolling your child in Discovery Days. If you have not enrolled your child yet but are thinking about it, you still have an opportunity to do so. We have approximately 6 openings after waiting list families are contacted. School starts on June 9th!
